Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving

This is a generic trouble shooting skills workshop, focusing on technical problems, teaching an eight- step process for identifying the causes of problems. Root Cause Analysis is a useful, active workshop for a wide variety of people (entry level to senior level personnel who are in the military, public and private sectors).

Candidates include those involved in equipment, systems or processes where unexpected problems might occur and critical for those working with or members of an Integrated Process Team. This workshop teaches step by step processes for individuals and teams to arrive at causes and potential causes of problems and the best possible decisions, plans and measures for addressing problems. It is important to note that the program will offer the participant a process that involves disciplined data gathering for selecting and implementing “corrective action.”

In addition, the program will not only identify the root causes of failure in systems processes and equipment but identification will include “alternative corrective strategies.”
