Advanced Management Seminar
This is a Total Quality Program that encompasses many of the Core Values and Concepts of Leadership included in APIC 2003.
This fast paced, challenging, and thought-provoking course is designed to help managers expand their knowledge and skills and develop a more proactive approach to meet complex challenges. Each participant learns proven Management/Leadership tools, techniques, and knowledge that are proven to develop self reliant, productive employees, and prepare the participant for future advancement.
Reorganizing the need to reduce staff and manage budgets means that more responsibilities and more results are expected from the smaller work force and their manager. This course forms a foundation for this kind of fast paced changing, decision driven environment.
New workers are more independent, more resourceful, and want a say in what is happening on the job. Collectively, they don’t respond well to PUSH, CONTROL, CONFIRM. Managers need new attitudes and behaviors to meet these challenges and the organization's success depends on how much the manager understands and leverages the new challenge.
The "new" manager is in a position to define the organization as being a place that encourages their staff to work, to learn, grow, to be part of a successful team process, and helps make the transition from adequacy to excellence.
